Privacy

Receipt → Dropbox is designed to move your file without building a second copy of your filing cabinet.

Receipt files

Your selected receipt passes through short-lived server memory while it is sent to your Dropbox folder. BuckSimple does not save the receipt file in its own database or object storage.

Dropbox connection

Dropbox handles login. BuckSimple never receives your Dropbox password. The app requests access only to its own Dropbox app folder. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to list or create a destination folder and upload files you select.

What is retained

BuckSimple stores your stable Dropbox account identifier, chosen destination path, five-use trial history, encrypted connection credentials, essential session state, and—if you subscribe—Stripe customer, subscription, and entitlement identifiers. Trial history is retained after disconnecting to prevent the free allowance from resetting.

Billing

Stripe processes payment details on its hosted pages. BuckSimple does not receive or store your full card number.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting asks Dropbox to revoke the current access token, removes stored Dropbox credentials, and clears the BuckSimple session cookie. Trial and billing records remain as described above.

Operator and contact

BuckSimple is operated by Breakpoint Industries Inc. For privacy questions or requests, email rob@breakpointind.com.
